Contribution to NoE (Analytical description)

As industrial research center, CRP will contribute to NoE in different WPs: WP5 and WP9 for polymer processing study of nanocomposites, WP6 and WP10 for the properties of nanomaterial also using molecular modelling simulation, WP7 and WP11 for application in automotive fields, WP12 for LCE application to development of part design. Finally also a contribution in WP15 for technology transfer in its area of competence.

  • Injection moulding lab (100 tonn, mini 6 tonn)
  • Capabilities for chemical-physical characterisation of materials (DSC, DMTA, Izod and Charpy test, spectrophotometer UV-VIS, FT-IR, atomic force microscope (AFM), environmental scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy, profilometer, ellipsometer, etc.
  • Electroforming machine for the production of nickel inserts for moulds aimed at mass production of microstructured injection moulded products
  • Microlithography for the production of diffractive micro-optics master
  • Packaging of innovative solid state light sources
  • Ultra high vacuum chamber deposition for the production of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode)
